Our Programs
Atlantic Spinners art and Dance Society's (ASADS') goal is to develop, support, and promote collaborative art that draws from ancient styles from around the world. We achieve this through the diversity and inclusion of the community at large, reaching out to a wide audience at cultural events, educational workshops, and community involvement. Our goal is to collaborate with partners who share the same vision and values and have a desire to promote art and culture all over Nova Scotia. This is our innovation to promote and support nova scotia artists and to provide a strong platform to pursue art. We are trying to take their artistic practice to another level.

JoyUnity

JoyUnity Folkdance Festival:
Collaborative dance festival, is to celebrate the festivity with different cultural dances to showcase the diverse culture NovaScotia has.
We did this festival with the help of Pier 21, Halifax Central Library, Halifax Regional Arts from Halifax Regional Centre for Education and Conseil Scolaire Acadien Provincial. We had showcased 9 different dances from around the world.

JoyUnity Paint Festival:
We select 30 painters to participate in this festival. We provide all the supplies to paint including canvases. We also provide refreshments to all of them. The painters would make paintings between 30 to 50. We will sell/auction the paintings and will pay all the painters.

JoyUnity Wellness Studio
We are offering art workshops for beginners for the mental and physical wellbeing of our community members. We have a number of artists of different genres. All the artists are experts in their own respective fields and have ample experience.
